Activation Perspective

A pragmatic approach to change focuses on a new way of seeing just how action can be made more effective in getting what you want and persuading others to support you. It holds the key to innovation, leadership and transformational change in any setting. It's about seeing the link between powerful observation, adoption, activation and mastery.

Adopting an action driven approach attends to the thoughts and senses that need to be present for you to pay attention to your intentions. You have to bridge the gap between intention and new ways of acting, otherwise you remain stuck in habitual ways of knowing. To do things differently you first have to 'see' old problems and concerns in new ways. You may need to develop a new common sense as you seek to give meaning and shape to what you are observing.

Activation methods are needed to make new things happen. Movement is required to energise thoughts into action and through adoption generate innovation and transformation. It's about practice, feedback, reflection, sustainability, resilience and action learning.
